Niketa Kulkarni is a Lead Principal consultant in Clear Horizon’s international team. She supports clients develop MEL frameworks, undertake evaluations, and build local capacity to gather insights about program/ policy effectiveness, with a specific focus on issues related to access, equity, and rights.
With over 15 years working towards sustainable international development, Niketa is experienced in designing gender and socially inclusive research and frameworks to inform laws, policies, and programs and improve socio-economic outcomes for socially disadvantaged groups across the globe. She is trained in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and has experience in diverse issues, including women’s empowerment, infrastructure, health, property rights, and financial inclusion. She has designed and implemented MEL efforts in the Pacific, Asia, Africa, and South America, for various clients, such as DFAT, the World Bank, DFID, USAID, UN Women, private commercial entities, community-level non-profits, and large philanthropic organisations.
In her spare time, Niketa loves to go on adventures with her husband and two young children, cook large family meals, and explore the world through food, music, and stories.
